Reasons to Love Lube Part 2

Misconception: Lube use during sex is unnatural.

Men and women both produce their own natural lubrication. Yet, for a number of reasons, it's often not enough for comfortable sex or for long-lasting lovemaking, e.g., Tantric sex sessions. While a woman's vaginal opening secretes wetness, her vulva, including her crown jewel, the clitoris, does not self-lubricate.

Likewise, a man's pre-cum or emollient under the foreskin (for those uncircumcised) does not do the trick in maximising pleasuring. So no matter what the body part, lube is essential for those looking to create more erotic sensation with less friction.

Then there are those forms of sexual pleasuring that practically demand lube for sexual enhancement. Solo or shared, a hand job is only made better when working his shaft becomes a slip'n'slide. In stimulating any erogenous zone on the body, from one's nipple to perineum, using lube invites greater reactions and true sexual mastery. Finally, natural lubrication comes and goes during any one sexual exchange, making lube necessary in improving intimacy.

Misconception: Only the elderly use lube.

With the time it takes to become aroused slower in our later years, lube is often recommended as a way to invite more response. Seniors like that using lube helps them to relax and become more aroused while saving time and avoiding frustrations faced otherwise. Yet, lube is not a pleasure to be enjoyed once you're past a certain age, as many younger lovers have learned.

With sex in the media more than ever, and sexual pleasuring of prime importance to many, the benefits of lube are being hailed more than ever. Instead of being the exception to the rule, adding some lube to the action has become quite the gold standard for a number of people of all ages, as reflected with lubricant sales over $7.8 million in Australia in the last year.

Misconception: Lube is only meant for safer sex.

Hands down, wetter is better for condom users, lest they face the risk of their rubber breaking otherwise. But that's not to say that it's only meant for those times sexual pursuits involve protection.

Sometimes, a little bit of assistance is required; other times, it's desired - safer sex or not. In fact, recent research conducted at Indiana University found that sex involving lubricant was associated with more pleasurable and satisfying intercourse - and masturbation - than sex without lube. Kind of makes the matter of using lube a bit of a no brainer, eh?

Reasons to Love Lube

http://www.astroglideaustralia.com/blog_-_the_glide_guide.html#5reasons

By Yvonne K. Fulbright, Ph.D., M.S.Ed.

Slick, smooth, and scintillating tends to be the sort of sex many people long for. Yet the use of lube in making that happen is often stigmatised. Unaware of the plethora of benefits lube stands to offer their passion pursuits, lovers are largely misinformed by popular misconceptions about this sexual enhancement. A number don't realise that using lube sets the stage for some of the best sex around, allowing for more effective stimulation, inviting more orgasms, and enabling lovers to last for the long-haul.

So what are some of the fallacies preventing them from reaching sexual ecstasy as it's never been known before? Astroglide tackles some of the major ones below...

Misconception: Using lube means one of us isn't sexually excited.

Making lubricant a part of your sexual repertoire does not mean, by any means, that you or your partner isn't turned on enough, or that you're having trouble working each other into a sexual frenzy. In cases where there is a lack of natural lubricant, this should not be taken as an indicator of one's arousal level.

For women, in particular, occasional vaginal dryness - those times when she doesn't produce enough lubrication - is a natural, normal occurrence throughout her life cycle. Such can happen for a number of reasons, like the use of medications (e.g., antihistamines), breastfeeding, menopause, where she's at in her menstrual cycle, alcohol consumption, or emotional factors.

Regardless of if it's needed or not, as many users will tell you, incorporating lube into sex play simply makes for better sex, increasing pleasure, decreasing any pain and discomfort, and making penetration all the more delicious.

Misconception: Lube ruins the mood.

Yes, lube takes a few seconds to apply, but instead of seeing this as a "time out," see this part of foreplay as titillation. You're building the excitement. You're being a bit of a tease. You're making your lover putty in your hands. You're setting the stage for something mindblowing.

Make no doubt about it, taking the time to use lubes allows lovers to take their time in enjoying the sex they're having overall. Instead of rushing to the end of the show, they can relish their performance. In many cases, the lube used allows for a grander finale when it does "come."

Summer Ideas That Beat The Heat

Summer is in full swing…and the thermometer is through the roof. The sun is great for grabbing a tan, but when it gets too hot out, the weather can throw a spanner in your date plans. After all, pit-stains don’t always make the best first, second or even third impression.
Save the sweat for the bedroom. Your friends at Astroglide Personal Lubricants have come up with a few ways to beat the heat for your summer dating plans.
• Suit up and hit the local water-park. You spent all spring getting your beach body back in action, so why not use it? The water-park is a great place to enjoy the sun, stay cool and have some fun together.
• Washing a car doesn’t have to be a chore when you do it together. Strip down to your suits and don’t be afraid to get playful.
• Put the keys in the ignition and get ready to drive. Drop the windows (or the top) and head out to the country. A scenic drive is a great chance to get to know each other. If you’re lucky, a secluded country pit stop might be a chance to really get to know each other.
• Delectable dairy is a great way to cap off any date. Summer is the time for ice cream, and everyone loves ice cream. Make sure to save some whip cream; if you can take the date back to his or her place, you’ll get that cherry on top.
• Add a little drama to the evening…the good kind. Seeing an outdoor play, musical or opera is a great way to enjoy a summer evening. In keeping with the theme, try a little role-playing of your own when you get to the bedroom.
• Outdoor café? Got it covered! Try a new restaurant, preferably one with a covered outdoor café. You can enjoy the summer atmosphere without the sun beating down on your face, or enjoy the night air in a cozy, candlelit environment.
• Drive-in movies are still the rage. You could go sit in a stuffy, crowded movie theatre…or you could enjoy one from the comfort and privacy of your own car. Open the windows to let a summer breeze blow through—or close them and crank up the air conditioning for total privacy.

Dads: How You and Your Special Someone Can Spice Up This Father's Day

Dads: How You and Your Special Someone Can Spice Up This Father's Day

Astroglide Personal Lubricants Offers Tips to Husbands and Wives for Celebrating Fathers Day

Whether performing garden work, fixing things, barbequing or helping the kids with homework, Dad wears many hats around the house. But when the lights go down and the kids are in bed this Father's Day, plan on making it an extra special one with some tips from Astroglide Personal Lubricants.

For Fathers, celebrating with the person who shared in creating their family is every bit as important as celebrating with the family itself, so husbands and wives should work together to help Dad find a happy ending this Father's Day.

For Wives

Give him the good stuff - Your husband finds nothing sexier than a woman who knows her way around an electronics store. OK, maybe he finds SOME things sexier. Regardless, if you've kept your ears open and buy him his newest dream toy, expect some “thank you” sparks to fly in the bedroom.

Tell me, what's your fantasy? - You've lived with him long enough to know what his fantasy is; now, make it a reality. What's the one thing he's wanted to do in the bedroom that you've been saving for a rainy day? Well, today is that rainy day. Help make this a Father's Day he'll never forget.

Golf: the greatest gift of all - It's a beautiful Sunday morning, the sun is shining, the birds are singing and the course is calling—why not get some of the other wives together and book a tee-time for him and his friends?

Food really is the way to a man's heart - His favourite dish is just the ticket to spicing up his Father's Day. Whether it's take away, out on the town or home-cooked, make sure to have his favourite meal.

Get “Busy” - Send the kids out for a movie or get a babysitter and head over to a hotel for the night. Whatever you do, find a bedroom where you can be as loud as you want without any disturbances.

For Dads

Work it out - Did you know that lifting weights also lifts the libido? Not that you need the lift. Plus it helps increase energy and decrease stress levels which can lead to more fun in the bedroom. Hit the gym for an hour or two and blow off some steam.

Grab some sexy movies - Since you had children, having risqué movies around the house has been difficult, but with the internet, there's no need to have it laying around. This is your chance to get the wife in on some sexy movies. It might take some smooth talking, but we know you can convince her!

Take the day off - It's Sunday and there are things to get done around the house. Against your better judgment, let those chores wait and take the day to relax with the family. Don't forget to plan some special time with your lady.

WHY WOMEN ARE ATTRACTED TO MEN WHO EAT CELERY - IS IT A VEGGIE VIAGRA?

WHY WOMEN ARE ATTRACTED TO MEN WHO EAT CELERY - IS IT A VEGGIE VIAGRA?

http://dscriber.com/world/1734-why-women-are-attracted-to-men-who-eat-celery-is-it-a-veggie-viagra.html

Though celery gets little glory in the world of manly things to eat, it turns out men would be better off scarfing more of it down than those chicken wings drenched in hot buffalo sauce. The authors of a "Stay Young: Ten Proven Steps to Ultimate Health" claim that eating celery increases pheromone levels in a man's sweat, making him more attractive to women. Why? Celery has a naturally-occurring steroid in it -- androstenone -- which increases the production of pheromones through sweat. The revelation in the book, which includes recommendations such as, "have sex often" and "sleep your way to a younger you," isn't new. It regularly appears on lists for men who want to improve their sexual health. The book also contains a section on fitness. Loading down the celery in thick, fat-laden ranch dressing is not recommended.
All this research on celery begs at one quesion: If women are so attracted to sweaty guys should guys bother to shower before a date?
